NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Borough Council of the Borough of Orwigsburg will hold a public hearing at the Orwigsburg Borough Council Chambers, 209 North Warren Street, Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania, at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, with respect to the following zoning application for conditional use: Applicant: Jose Rogelio; Property Owner: CBJF Realty LP; Property Location: 409 Rear Industrial Park Drive, Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania, designated Schuylkill County UPI No. 56-02-0010.000. Appellant requests a conditional use under Section 902.J.1 of the Orwigsburg Zoning Ordinance to conduct a heavy-duty truck repair operation in a I-1 Industrial Zoning District. The original application and related materials submitted by the Applicant may be examined by the public at the Orwigsburg Borough Office, 333 South Liberty Street, Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania, during Borough business hours.

The projected start date for the sidewalk project is July 6th. As the project proceeds there will be parking restrictions and changes in traffic flow on the square. The intent is to have a travel lane open the vast majority of the time. There may be instances where traffic will be stopped for short periods of time but otherwise traffic should flow through town without issue.
The Ridge Road Park Project is under construction as of July 13th.
