"Walking in Their Shoes: Heroes of the 48th Pennsylvania Infantry" presented by Ben Varner, Civil War Historian

Thursday, May 16th, 7:00 p.m.

Join Ben Varner, Civil War regimental historian and founder of the “Walking in Their Shoes Project,” as he tells the tale of the 48th Pennsylvania Regiment. These men, the “Schuylkill Regiment,” came from all over Schuylkill County and northern Berks and fought in some of the most storied battles of the Civil War. From New Berne to Antietam, Fredericksburg to Petersburg these were the men who put the “Crater” in the Battle of the Crater.
