Sewer Fees and Services
ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
Sewer Rent Per Unit
First 5,000 gallons (Minimum - occupied or unoccupied) $110.00
All usage over 5,000 gallons is a rate of $4.00 / 1,000 gallons
Flat Rate $158.00
Sewer Hook up:
** $3,133.30 connection fee per EDU. The construction and cost of the service lateral from the sewer main is the responsibility of the property being
connected. In addition, any additional Borough costs related to inspections, or similar costs, will be the responsibility of the property being connected.

7. Complaints and Malfunctioning Systems $110.00/Hr.
8. Repair Permits $ 330.00
9. All Commercial, Business, Multi-Family Units and Subdivisions shall be billed a fee of $110.00 Per/Hr. with minimum charges per unit as above.
10. All work not covered in the above will be billed at a fee of $110.00 Per/Hr.
11. Application for any system must include a completed PADEP application. The minimum fee of $220.00, payable to Orwigsburg Borough, must accompany all applications. Payment of fees shall be made by Certified Check, Money Order or equal to the Sewage Enforcement Officer payable to Orwigsburg Borough.
12. Please note that the above fees do not include the digging of the 7' soil probe pit, the individual percolation test holes or initial pre-soak (8 to 24 hours prior to testing). The percolation test site must be accessible by a two-wheel drive vehicle to within fifty feet. If the test site is not accessible to within fifty feet the applicant shall provide all water required for testing.
13. Fees must be paid in full prior to the release of permits/test results.
